No More Ugly is an online store based in Sydney, Australia aimed to rid the world of ugly, one thing at a time.
We all love providing a new protective home for our little (or big) baby of a DSLR and we have all been victims of those black canvas velcro-flapping things they call camera bags that we cannot afford. Our DSLR ends up sitting on a lonely shelf at home being all anti-social because last thing we want to do is lug that ugly gift-with-purchase camera bag with us and expose it to the outside world, potentially getting rolled at the same time.
Hence our first mission: rid the world of ugly camera bags.
About Tina
Hi I’m Tina and I’m the founder of No More Ugly Camera Bags. I'm an Australian born Chinese living in Sydney. I could never decide what I loved more - business, design or photography. So I thought, why not pursue it all?
My dad bought me my first DSLR camera when I was young (he still has a better camera than me) and from then I was obsessed with taking photos. I always wanted to bring the DSLR with me everywhere but hated lugging around the black velcro-flappy bag that came with your new camera. One day I decided that the world needed some good looking camera bags because I was sick of putting my DSLR in a beanie then in my everyday bag. I decided to combine my three passions to create No More Ugly. My first mission is to rid the world of ugly camera bags (seriously, how many people do you know have ugly camera bags?). I want to help travellers and photographers travel better with their camera gear so they can focus on what they do best - creating. As my good friend said to me "we have to look good hustling right?"
